What We Do (Specialty Area)
Our focus is on serving children, teen mothers and youth at risk through our Redeem Lead Transform (RLT) program.
Our Approach
We create a supportive ecosystem for vulnerable children, youth, and teen mothers, addressing their spiritual, emotional, social, and economic needs. By engaging families and communities, we build a foundation for growth, resilience, and purpose.
Scope
Operate in Eastern Eastern province; Bugesera District and Ngoma District: Serving 250 children, 120 teens, with plans to empower 100 youth in 2025.

Edward Musonera Foundation (EMF) was born from my personal journey of overcoming hardship, abuse, and teen motherhood. I know firsthand what it means to feel voiceless and vulnerable. This experience is not unique to me—it reflects the reality of many children, youth, and teen mothers across Rwanda.
Edward Musonera Foundation is a faith-based, women-led, and common benefit organization founded in Rwanda in 2022. We are legally registered with the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) under the legal personality number 81/RGB/FDN/LP/02/2025. EMF advocates for girls’ and women’s rights, social-economic empowerment, and education for all.
